History of object: Illustrated article from the insurance publication "Fireman's Fund Record", for 1920, concerning the fire on Park Street, Alameda, which destroyed several commercial buildings. These two pages concerning the fire (clipping & written notation ‘Big Fire Park & Webb, 2:30 today’), came from the journal of Herbert D. Clark, insurance agent in Alameda for some 50 years.
