Description: A quarter-sawed oak chair of American make, in the Queen Anne-style with a scroll sawed splat attached to a serpentine crest rail. The chair has arms which are attached to side rails. The removable plank seat is covered in identical fabric to the chair described in Acc. No. 14.2.3.
Size: H-42” x D-17” x W-19”
History of Object: A chair bought to augment the existing dining room set for additional seating. The upholsterer's name is on a label under the seat, "R and N Stone, Alameda, 05/20/53" the date the chair was reupholstered.
