Description: a model steam train and tender mounted on a track attached to a wooden plank, painted black. Train has a brass bell, and brass pressure gauge with engraved text: ‘working pressure’ and ‘Coleman. No other identifying text or markings.

History of Object: steam train model, reflecting the type of train that might have been in use in Alameda in 1902. Donated to the historical society before 1972; donation attributed to Mr. Francis Peoples, 1952. Not added to cataloging systems before.
