History of Object: A: Drawing representing the proposed develop of South Shore predicated on the court decision of Petersen & Heche vs. Utah Construction Company. Petersen & Heche based their case on the fact that early property descriptions extended into the bay.
B: article from the Oakland Tribune of March 2, 1961, describing the nature of the claim filed on the tidelands filled by the Utah Construction Company, by Mrs. Heche, descendant of co-founder W.W. Chipman. Also mentions Ella Aughinbaugh, a descendant of co-founder Gideon Aughinbaugh.
