Description: Plain pottery (glazed) ale bottle (raised lip), egg shell white in color. Unmarked.
Size: H-9 x (base) C-2 3/4 inches.
History of Object: Ale bottle (one of two) excavated from the back yard of 1919 Pacific Avenue, a commercial building erected in 1878. The building originally contained a grocery store & saloon operated by J. N. Beckman. The Beckman family lived in a flat above the store.
