Description: Wine colored hard cover commute booklet with tickets, Southern Pacific Lines stamped in relief in blue circle on front of cover. Ticket booklet inside, with green cover stating "Interurban Electric Ry. Co., January, 1939", and tickets of two color types, pink with green design and black type, tan with red design, black type. Written on inner cover, "this commutation book is the property of: William F. Murray, 1422 Union St., Alameda, Calif, Alameda 5219".
Size, 2¼x4½ inches.
History of Object: Electric train tickets, dated 1939, for San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland or Alameda, ferry and suburban trains only. Commute tickets used by former mayor of Alameda, Wm F. Murray, for commuting to his office in San Francisco.
