No. 23.7.1 a,b,c Subject Category: Clothing Date or period: 1959 Object: Dress, Wedding a) Dress b) Photograh c) Typed description by donor Below knee-length wedding dress consisting of an off-white lace overdress with short sleeves, a gathered waistline, and a high boat neck edged with scalloped lace. Underdress of taffeta has a sweetheart neckline that shows through the lace. A Line of satin-covered buttons runs down the center back to the hip level. Hem has two layers of scalloped lace and tulle layers to produce a full skirt. Full-length measurement shoulder to hem is 44”. Skirt length, waist to hem is 29”, sleeve length shoulder to hem is 6”. Label states: “fashioned by Adeline of California: bridal and formal fashions” and is located inside the dress at the wearer's right bodice side seam. History of object: The dress was worn at the wedding between Carolyn Segerquist and W. Keith Storm. Acquired from Carolyn Storm, March 3, 2016
