Description:
Douglas fir (dark stain) free standing cabinet or bookcase, three drawer, with double glazed doors. Door & drawer pulls of clear glass. Two shelves.
Size: L-57 1/2 X W-33 x D-17 1/2 inches.
History of Object: Pseudo Craftsman style cabinet from the Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Heche home, 1521 Union St., Alameda. Mr. Heche was a longtime principal of Washington School, his wife Carol was a teacher for the Alameda Unified School District, and granddaughter of W. W. Chipman, co-founder City of Alameda.
