Description: Oblong brass sign, cast moulded with raised letters and rim. Corners squared off with perforated ends for attachment by screws.
Sign states "Passage".
Size: 8 x 2 inches.
History of Object: Corridor sign from the ferry boat "Golden Way" which commuted to Sacramento, and was beached on Government Island. The sign was removed during the ship's demolition by Leo Purcell and utilized by him at his baths on Central Avenue near Webster Street.
