Description: A 48-page (excluding cover) color booklet, on glossy paper, with a front cover featuring sunset images (silhouette of invasive fennel; silhouette of a wading bird, possibly a willet, and a hiker on the Mount Trashmore trail) on a blue background, titled 'Alameda 1987 1988'. First page has a foreword by Donald A. Dowdell, 1986-1987 President of the Alameda Chamber of Commerce. Has a stamp, 'Received Feb 28, 1988 Alameda Free Library' on the middle image, and 'Alameda Clipping File History' handwritten in ballpoint pen on the first page.
Size: L 11 x W 8 1/2 inches.
History of Object: Publication from the Chamber of Commerce, featuring advertisement of many businesses of the time, many of which have since disappeared. Page 26 includes a photo of SPRR locomotive 1227 that used to be at Washington Park.
