It is suspended by a copper hanger. Has a rubber stamp printed flap Herbert D. Clark, 1823 San Jose Ave, Alameda. Size: 11" by 7". History of Object: These calendars were distributed in December each year, starting as far back as 1903. They were left at each home in every neighborhood and at each business house by Mr. Clark and his two young helpers, Edwin and Herbert Delius, They were paid 50¢ a day for their labors. working from a horse and buggy which Mr. Clark drove. Total coverage took one week. Many "old timers" will remember these calendars which were sought after if by change their house was missed.
