History of Object: A container with refills for lead pencils produced by the Listo Pencil Corp., Alameda. This company was founded in 1917 by Charles E. Wehn; it was incorporated in 1921 and its plant was located at 1716 Park Street. In 1951, the firm moved to a new location at the corner of Union St. and Clement Ave., where they remained until the construction plant closed; the company headquarters is still at 1925 Union Street.
