6/18/2020 MvL: current label on top of display case: DOLL DISPLAY Dolls manufactured in the early 1900's in Germany. Some have composition or kid leather bodies and also bisque heads and glass eyes. Many have their original clothing. These dolls belonged to children of various early Alameda families.
