Description: Oblong hair brush with handle (one piece), elaborate decorative designs in relief of flowers surrounding a medallion containing the engraved initials "H.H.H. (Harriet Holmes Haslett). Reverse side-signed hallmarked- Sterling & #602C, has been stamped.
Size: L-9 inches.
History of Object: Sterling silver hair brush from the dressing table of Harriet Holmes Haslett, wife of Samuel M. and mother of the donor. Hasletts are old-time residents of the city having settled here in the 1870's.
