History of Object: Enlarged framed photographic copy of a vintage image of the Porter School Class of 1889. Also included are the names of the students This object was given to the Alameda Historical Society by John Lorber, a member of a pioneer east end Alameda family; his home was located at the present site of St. Philip Neri Church at High Street and Van Buren Street. Included in the photo is a family member, Hugo Milton Lorber.
