Description: an enlarged print on ordinary sturdy paper (not photo paper) of an aerial view, showing an area surrounded on the top by water, and bisected by a waterway from lower right to top left. There is a 1/4 inch white border all around. Object shows signs of having been rolled up and squashed, resulting in creases. No information on verso.
Size: L 28 x W 19 inches.
History of Object: print of an aerial photo of the West End, with the area of the former Naval Air Station Alameda - now Alameda Point - empty of people and cars, and no building yet on the Bayport development to the left (west) of the College of Alameda; dating this to early 2002. Oakland-Alameda Estuary on the right, Bay bridge at the top.
