The figure is hand-painted and glazed, with grey beard, wearing a red robe, moss-green cloak, blue cap, and silver shoes. The hem, sleeves, and cap are decorated in gold-paint, as is a belt, and the jar. The base is painted dark moss-green. Underside is stamped: 'Germany' in black. Size: H 5 1/8 x L 1 7/8 x W 2 inches. History of Object: Figurine of a Wise Man, according to German tradition, one representing age, Europe, and bringing myrrh.
