History of Object: Diary of Herbert D. Clark as a child beginning on December 20, 1883 through February 17, 1884. The diary jumps ahead to May 21, 1898. It contains passages where as an adult looks back on his childhood inscriptions. February 14, 1902 has a two page entry by R. Frank Clark to his son. November 2, 1902 contains a three page entry on the death of his father.
