Description: Oblong-shaped book with title "Spalding Official Basket Ball Score Book" stamped in gold and outlined by decorative border; underneath title appears "No. B" and name of publisher A.G. Spalding & Bros. on cover of navy blue imitation leather. Title page states: Spalding's New Official Basket Ball Score Book, Endorsed and used by all of the leading basketball scorers, No. B, Published by American Sports Publishing Company, 45 Rose Street, New York. Hand printed at top of title page is Alameda High School - 1929 and hand written in blue ink in upper left corner John Caulkins Basketball Manager '28-29.
This book records basketball games played by Alameda team and includes date of game, name of opposing team, names of players on both teams, where played, names of umpire and timekeeper, and scores of plays. First game dated 1/22/29, last game dated wss 12/6/32. Pages unnumbered.
