Interior has gold silk lining with pocket containing parchment paper--diploma with gold Board of Education Seal, Alameda. Signatures on the diploma: D. L. Randolph, president of the Board of Education, Will C. Woods, superintendent of schools, & George C. Thompson, principal High School.
Size: folded, 9½ x 6 3/4 inches.
History of Object: Elaborate diploma of Anita Rhodes, graduate of Alameda High School, Dec 22, 1909. The Rhodes family came to Alameda in 1892.
