Description: A hand sewn quilt in a design of concentric rings of a multi-colored and patterned cotton fabric, separated by squares of red and black colors. The edges are bound in a red colored cotton fabric. The underside is a white colored cotton fabric that has a hand embroidered caption reading: “Roberta, made by your grandmother Julia Grady for Alice Grady, 1934”
Size: L-90 x W-76 inches.
History of Object: The maker of this quilt is the paternal grandmother of the donor - Roberta O'Grady.
