History of Object: Folder with documents found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s. This folder pertains to the Municipal Golf Course, including 1924 petitions to establish one and purchase contract of lands and tidelands previously owned by Frank L. Taylor and G.C. Stephens; 1929-1930 county-tax waiver, and contracts and bids, sketches and blueprints of course and water sprinklers. Includes correspondence on stationery of Earl Fry “Golf Professional” and Alameda Golf Club and 1926 blueprints for the golf Club House by architect Carl Werner, who also designed fire houses and schools in Alameda (see also 12.34.16 A).
