History: Booklet titled "The Peraltas," by Pearl Randolph Fibel, published by the Peralta Hospital, Oakland, and copyrighted 1971. The booklet tells of the Peralta family who once owned a great portion of the East Bay, including Oakland and Alameda. Illustrated with photographs of their surviving homes and brands used on their livestock.
