Description: A tan cardboard box, with ditto lid with printed in darker brown 'Aluminum Cake Decorator', and on the side: '1/12 Dozen / Aluminum Cake Decorator Set / No. 2805 / Made in U.S.A.'. Inside is a tube-shape tool with screw-thread on one side, and a plunger with ring, with embossed on the lid on the plunger side 'Cake Decorator'. Housed in a metallic pink cardboard bed with cut-outs for 8 different tips which can be screwed onto the plunger part. Includes an extra six tips (one squashed in), and an instruction leaflet. Box and leaflet appear heavily used and stained. No Manufacturer or patent indicated.

History of Object: Aluminum cake decorator set used in Hofmann's Bakery, 819 Central Ave. With extra tips likely from another set of which the decorator has been broken or lost. This was used to apply icing in decorative shapes.
