History of Objects: The Alameda Legacy Home Tour was a joint fundraiser for the Alameda Museum and the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society. It was held every year in September. The guidebooks featured information about the Alameda homes on tour. In addition to fundraising, the purpose of the tour was to foster an appreciation for Alameda's architecture among the general public and highlight the need for its preservation.
