History of Object: Letters to City Manager Pierson (1931) and Bryant (1932-1933) relating to the Electric Light Plant. A&B (1931) letters are about (timing) of lighting of Park Street; C. reflects a complaint from J. H. Baxter & Co, who had a creosote pole treatment yard in Alameda, and was angered when the ELP bought cheap poles from an off-island source. D. reports removal of poles near the golf course, and informs of communications with Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Oakland, and Great Western Power Company of California.
