Description: Box like electrical cooker that rests on casters. The cabinet (floor model) consists of blue colored panels with aluminum top and trim. Label (transfer decal) on lower storage cabinet door states "Westgate Automatic Electric Cooking Cabinet." Upper section contains a circular timer (clock) with nickel plated face frame, and an off & on switch. Circular top with wooden lift. Cabinet contains original covered pots. Manufactured in Oakland.
Size: H-30 x W-18 x D-17 3/4 inches.
History of Object:
Steam cooker used by the Gielow family. They came to Alameda in 1908.
