The publication includes text, map and black and white photo-lithographic views. Objects given to the Alameda Historical Society prior to 1971. A and B were numbered 164A and donated by the Alameda Free Library in 1956. C was donated by the late Mrs. Arthur Heche, granddaughter of W.W. Chipman, Co-founder of the City of Alameda.
