Game consists of two components, the top part a disk with handle, fitting on a pin in the dish-shaped bottom part, so the top part can spin around the central spindle. The underside is red, the dish section is black, the disk part has a circle of small hollows, and a outer circle with transfer lithographic of white numbers on red, blue, green, or black backgrounds. Inner lithographic image states 'SPIN---ER---ETTE Roulette Wheel', and has logo with 'MAR toys, Made in United States of America, New York, NY'. Size: Diameter: L-6.5 x H-1 inches. History of Object: a 1940s spinning miniature roulette wheel, manufactured by the Marx Toys, New York. Founded by Louis and David Marx in 1919, the company was one of the largest toy manufacturers in the world by the 1950s. The company was sold in 1972 and liquidated in 1980. Game was donated in honor of this family: Elsie Follrath including her son Ben Follrath, grandson Bob Follrath, and great granddaughter Beverly Johnson (a former Mayor of Alameda).
