History of Object:
Documents found in the attic of City Hall. These documents pertain to the East Bay Water Company. Includes news clippings related to cost of Hetch Hetchy water, and Marshall water/reclamation plan; includes a map of the San Joaquin/Sacramento Valley water canals. Also includes 4 issues of Bubbler, the quarterly booklet, which include a report from the Alameda Division by Geo. A. McKean. The August, 1920 edition (No. 6) is a special on Alameda, with a report by Charles E. Hewes, City Manager. It is illustrated with photos of City Hall with tower, a house on Sherman, two street views, and of the Municipal Electric Light Plant.
