K. TAYLOR PROPERTY - PARK”, typewritten and underlined by typewriter. Inside is a legal size folder with papers, marked on the reverse with ‘174’ and a sequence number. L 15" x H 9 1/2" x W 1 1/2" History of Object: Correspondence (including pro/con petitions), and (blueprint) maps about a proposed, but ultimately unrealized new park, proposed name, Edward K. Taylor Park, on the ‘Stanford’ (Stanford University) property of tidelands at the foot of Pearl Street. Also proposal to ‘square’ Franklin Park and use part of the park as a playground. Includes letterhead from The American Legion Post No. 9 (1929) and letterhead for George H. Noble (#174-14, 174-41). Also includes judgement by the Superior Court of California about the City against E.B. Mastick Trustee, regarding Alameda Park, 1895.
