Description: A mint green folder with covers of card stock, containing typewritten pages. A label on the front has typed: 'HISTORY OF ALAMEDA', and additional information handwritten in pencil. At top right, there is additional handwritten words, what appears to be 'Calif. / Mss / A / Alameda'. Papers are three-hole punched and gathered with brass split pins.
Folder has smudges and front cover has what appears to be water damage.

History of Object: 3 typed essays, apparently at least one for a California History class (which received an 'A'). First essay is undated, titled 'ALAMEDA', by Isabel Curtis, 6 pages; second essay has no title or name, 3 pages; 3rd essay is titled 'HISTORICAL REVIEW OF ALAMEDA', and has handwritten: 'from Acorn, 1917, p 9-10. **373 A18 Office) by Peter Goedewagon', 6 pages.
