Description: Lithographic print (colored) in dark gilt finished frame with decorative cast iron topnotch for hanging. Subject of the print "The End of the Trail," is a rendering of the famous statue from the P.P.I.E., San Francisco, 1915.
History of Object: Framed print from the home of Alfred A. Anderson, 1612 Bay Street.
The family occupied the residence from 1920 to 1986. Mr. Anderson, born Bay Farm Island June 7, 1889, died April 5, 1947, was the son of Geo. & Josephine Anderson, pioneer farmers & residents of Bay Farm Island, Alameda.
