Old cataloging sticker is affixed to the upper left corner of the image. Identifying description is printed onto the image on the right mid-section by the photographer.

History of Object: Full-length portrait of Hordon D. (Stickey) Maynard, a travelling salesman for a paint and varnish company, standing in front of the Elks Lodge. He resided at 2109 Encinal Avenue, and functioned as the "Picnic boss" of the Elks Lodge picnic, sept. 9, 1914.
