Description: Ornate gesso frame (original) in off-white accentuated in silver. The frame contains a matted sepia-tinted photograph by Geo. Ball, Oak St. and Railroad (now Lincoln) Ave., he was active in Alameda in the 1890's.
Size: (Frame) H-13 1/4 x W-15 inches.
History of Object: Assembled volunteer group of the Citizens Hose Company at the laying of the cornerstone of the Alameda City Hall, May 16th, 1895. Fire Chief Fred K. Krauth is picture eleventh from the right wearing a 3/4 length coat.
