No. 25.10.9 Subject Category: Christmas, Seasonal Date or Period: 1950s Object: Christmas Tree Ornament Description: A glass ornament of metallic magenta with in white a drawing of a snowy village at night, with church, houses, moon, stars, and a fir tree. The same image is painted on each side of the ball. The image does not extend to the bottom of the ball. A metal hanging hook is inserted into to a tube-like protrusion at the top and a cap closes off the tube. Size: 2.75 in x 1.8 in History of Object: Ornament of unknown origin, possibly donated by the Smith-Frye, or Fischer families, or Fred Krueger. Ornament was presumably to be placed onto a Christmas tree during the Christmas season. Donor: unknown Donation Date: unknown
