Description:
This is a glass plate negative of the front of the Alameda Elk's Lodge at 2255 Santa Clara Ave. It appears to be taken not too long after it was built. An unidentified man is near the entrance. There is an unidentified logo from a photography studio in the lower right corner, as well as "C-1300". This negative is in excellent condition, despite a small washed out area on the lower left corner.
Size: L-6.5 x W-8.5 inches.
History of Object:
This building was built in 1909 at 2255 Santa Clara Ave. It was built to be the Elks Lodge #1055 and is to this day.
