Description:
This is a glass plate negative taken from Lincoln Ave., just east of its intersection with Sherman St., looking west to the other side if the intersection. Buildings and businesses on both sides of Lincoln Ave. can be seen. This negative is in excellent condition, despite the left edge being slightly washed out.
Size: L-5 x W-7 inches.
History of Object:
This negative shows a rare image of Encinal Hall. Lincoln Ave is not paved and two sets of railroad tracks can be seen. Bicycles and horse-drawn transportation is visible. No cars are shown.
