Description: High button shoes in a combination black and blue tinted leather. Each shoe is secured by six blue-colored shoe buttons, the leather soles have a raised heel. Unknown manufacture.

History of Object: Baby shoes worn by the late Thelma Rutherford Lanzit, who died in Alameda on April 13, 1985 at age 84. She was a 59-year resident of Alameda who had settled here in 1926. She was the mother of Jerome Lanzit, the past treasurer of the Alameda Museum.
