Description: Two sepia-colored matte photographs of an interior of a building with elaborate ceiling paintings and wrought iron hanging lamps. A shows a view of intricate painted designs in arched sections and the top of a counter leading toward arched doorways, B shows a coffered ceiling section with angled walls and two lamps of a different wrought iron design. Stamped on the back with 'Gabriel Moulin Photo', Jan 31 1929'.
Size: L 8 x W 10 inches
History of Object: An enlargement photograph of the interior of the Administration building of the Municipal Electric Light Department, and used by the Bureau of Electricity until 1986. Currently houses the law offices of William Berg and Associates. Photo A was used on page 39 of the City Manager's Report for 1932-1933 (eg. 99.69.1).
Part of a collection of papers and photographs from an Alameda resident, donated by a sibling.
