Object: Magic Lantern Advertising Slide for City Council Candidate
Description: Glass plate color “Magic Lantern” advertising slide for City Council candidate John H Walker. "JOHN H. WALKER" is written in very large, capital letters across the top of the slide and
"present incumbent" is written in very small, capital letters, surrounded be parentheses, below the H and W. His color tinted photo appears on the left hand side. To the right of that is written "Councilman - At - Large, just below "Candidate for" in much smaller, capital letters. At the bottom, also in small capital letters, it says "Election, Monday, April 14th, 1913. All three lines of very small text are highlighted in light red. The edges of the slide are wrapped in black tape, resembling book binding tape. Made by M.S. Stewart, Oakland
