Description: Framed diploma with off-white mat. In elaborate gesso frame, with walnut colored stain. Frame has inner liner of silver leaf. Elaborate printed diploma, signed in script. Certificate Signed "G.F. BAKER LITH S.F."

History of Object: Diploma awarded to Lottie C. Perkins in 1890, from the original Alameda High School, name changed to Haight School, in 1887. Ms. Perkins was the sister of the donor's father. She married a Mr. Semone and became a teacher at Longfellow School, for some 40 years.
