History of Object: Medical certificate (diploma) awarded Harold Austin Miller, graduate of Cooper Medical College, San Francisco, 1903. Dr. Miller practiced medicine in Alameda for many years and lived at 740 Santa Clara Avenue (corner Page Street) in a house he had built in 1911. He was the father of the late Mary Romanowitz, former secretary of the Alameda Historical Society.
