History of Object: Photograph of Herbert D. Clark taken April 2, 1900, a few months before his marriage to Emma Adell Mitchell. He was the son of R. Frank Clark and Ellen Deans Clark. Herbert Clark was born in San Francisco and moved to Alameda in 1878.
