Size: 30 3/4 by 34½ inches. History of Object: Prominent early citizen of Alameda. He was president of the Alameda Board of Trade. He was president of the Alameda Water Carnival in 1902. A celebration of the completion of the opening of the Alameda Estuary, making Alameda an island. F. N. Delanoy moved to Alameda from San Francisco in 1895. He was in the real estate business. The company was known as Delanoy and Randlett, and they built over 600 homes here. Mr. Delanoy's home was located at 2161 Central Avenue. He died in 1927. Acquired from: Dr. Ronald Slater Date: 1951
