History of Object: Photo depicting the Abel Thornton home as it appeared when it stood on Liberty Avenue. It was moved across the street to 1479 High Street in 1890, and altered. Abel Thornton was a pioneer farmer of the East End, his farm was located on land now known as Liberty Avenue.
