Description: Photographic album containing 188 glossy black/white photos mounted on buff scrapbook paper, enclosed within black fabric-covered hardboard covers (with some damage to the top cover at its upper left corner). The album is tied together with black shoe lacing. Except for one page devoted to newspaper clippings from the Los Angeles Examiner, the remainder of the album is devoted to photographs. Photographer(s) unknown.
Album size: L-16 1/2 x W-18".
History of Object: Various photographic views of dredging activities, equipment, construction projects, and personnel connected with the operation of the Pacific Coast Engineering Company of Alameda. Unfortunately, no identifying data is given except for the newspaper clippings detailing the construction of a channel near the city of Needles, CA, to divert the Colorado River.
