History of Object: Unusual photograph of Emma Adell Mitchell Clark, wife of Herbert D. Clark, and mother of donor, seen on the back, showing lace and voluminous puffed sleeves. The Clark family were early residents of Alameda, coming here from San Francisco in 1878.
