Photographer uncertain, but may be Harriet Hallonquist of Alameda, whose label is affixed to verso. Typed descriptive label is affixed to bottom edge of image. Size: L-8 x W-10 in. History of Object: Fruitvale Bridge, swiveled aside to permit a boat's passage. Cars are backed up at the blocked bridge entrance, and a crowd of people have left their autos to observe the sight.
