Photo of Joseph Koenig and family, seen with their delivery wagons and horse. They ran the Alameda Cleaning & Dyeing Works, 2315 Alameda Ave., Alameda. This was a pioneer dry cleaning establishment, which used benzine to clean the clothing. The benzine was kept in large vats behind the cleaning shop.
